What are the opening times?

Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th - 09.30am - 5.00pm

Wednesday 26th April - 09.30am - 4.00pm

Will there be any seminars, workshops or demonstrations?

Yes, there will be a number of features running throughout the show including demonstrations, masterclasses and topical seminars and debates. Full details will be available closer to the event.


Is there a Show Guide?

Yes, this will be available at the show free of charge to all visitors.


If I have registered for the exhibition, can I attend on more than one day?

Yes, once registered you can come along any day and your badge allows you in on multiple days.


If I have registered for The Ingredients Show, can I attend the other shows?

Yes, registering for The Ingredients Show allows you access to Foodex, Food & Drink Expo, National Convenience Show, Farm Shop & Deli Show and The Forecourt Show.


How can I register?

Registration for The Ingredients Show 2023 will open at the end of 2022.


Can I register my colleague and/or friend?

Yes, once you have registered yourself online, you can register a colleague or friend that is also within the industry.



I'm worried that I haven't received my e-badge yet, what can I do?

Badges will be emailed to you prior to the event. As we are operating within the ‘AllSecure’ protocols, we will not be printing badges on site. By following the instructions on your registration confirmation email, you can either download your badge as a PDF or add your pass to your Apple or Google Wallet. Please ensure you are able to display your badge when you arrive to gain access to the show.


What type of ID do I need to bring as I am in the process of setting up a business in the trade?

Please bring a business card if you have one.



Can I visit the event if I'm not in the trade?

No, this is a trade only event.


Is there a charge for registering?

No, entrance is free to the trade. As we are operating within the ‘AllSecure’ protocols, everyone should register in advance and print your badge, or download and add your pass to your Apple or Google Wallet. We will not be able to offer onsite registration..


Do I have to provide all of my personal details?

We require the mandatory fields on the registration form.


I don't want to be contacted after the event; how can I prevent this from happening?

We will keep you informed of products and services from William Reed Business Media Ltd. I am a student; can I visit the event?

Can my children visit the event with me?

No, this is a trade event and strictly no under 18s will be admitted including babies in arms.


Is there a cloakroom at the event?

Yes. Cloakrooms are located in the Piazza. They are open 30 minutes before the shop opens, until the close of show.
Please note: Only coats will be permitted in the cloakroom. Bags, suitcases, umbrellas etc are not allowed. 
If there are any items remaining, they will be taken to the NEC Security office.




Will there be anywhere that I can access the internet while I'm at the event?

Yes, within the Business Centre.


Can I hire a wheelchair at the event?

Yes, you can hire manual wheelchairs only. There is no charge but a deposit will be required.


What is wheelchair access like at the venue?

We’ve worked tirelessly to make our venue fully accessible to all our guests. Visit the NEC website for more information.


Are pushchairs allowed into the exhibition halls?

No the show is strictly no under 18s. No children, infants or babies in arms will be allowed into the show.


Will there be anywhere to buy food while I'm at the exhibition?

Yes, there are several outlets within the halls.
